What Does Google Know About Your Business AND Why You Should Care?

Gill Fountain • February 18, 2020

Google My Business, what does it do and why should I care about claiming my business via Google?

Oh No Not Again, I hear you say. Attention Business Owners, just do this!

Google My Business (GMB) is an important way to extend the reach to potential clients you may not already be reaching. It's part of the Google suite and if set up correctly - with regular activity more people will see it. It can knock your competitors out of the water.

Why?
Because so many businesses forget or do not realise this is a vital part of their marketing. An easy way to get in front of people searching for their type of business above their competitors.

We have clients whose monthly stats show that anything between 200 - 7,500 people have viewed their GMB page - Yes, MONTHLY and the best bit is if you set it up yourself - it's free.

There is a downside, it has to be verified and that does mean, a text, an email, excellent, fast, one click and it's set up, however often this is sent through the post. No postcard from Google means no verification code, no verification code entered onto the back-end of your account means no-one will see it. It is still invisible.

There's even more bad news: If you decide this is too much work then you are leaving your business wide open for someone else to claim it for themselves.

Some people love yet another system, others just want to get on with what is important to them in their business, however, it is the case of the quicker you add it and get it up and running the more Google will extend your visibility out to a larger number of people.

So here's my offer: Let me set it up or refresh, verify & create the content for a period of 3 months- and send the stats. If we started now you would be covered for 3 months.

What if I don't have the time or the energy?

Let us do it for you.

You provide us with photos, a logo and some words and let us do the rest.

If we work with you, show you how or do it for you it's a paid for service, often less than a family day out a month - for 3 months

Basically, you can leave it to us whilst you get on with the rest of your business.

Say yes and let us get you set up, verified and kick start this way of marketing your business.

Click through to our 'How To' page for more details.
