LinkedinLocal Basingstoke is not all about business owners, we have a complete mix of people from different backgrounds and professions, some looking for contacts, others looking for inspiration and future adventures. Join us, make new friends and firm up old connections.
Remember to book online to receive the meeting details.
Each meeting sees an exchange of new and swapped ideas, introductions are made and friendships formed.
There isn't normally any 60 seconds and really no formal procedure, extremely relaxed and friendly.
Bring yourself and friends, tell us what you do, but don't try to sell, sell, sell.
Book your place, share with your friends, and we will see you on the night.

It’s a meetup concept originally created by Anna McAfee in Australia with the purpose to meet our online LinkedIn connections face-to-face, offline.
It was then developed by Erik Eklund, Alexandra Galviz and Manu Goswami who added themes, speaker panels and workshop elements with The Purpose to unite people from all walks of life, inside one facilitated event, to genuinely get to know the humans behind our LinkedIn profiles, and connect beyond the job titles, business cards and company names.
LinkedInLocalBasingstoke is following the idea that started in Australia and has caught peoples imaginations. Founded in December 2017, together Kerrie-Lyann-Hirst and myself, Gill Fountain decided to support the growth of LinkedinLocal for the Basingstoke area and Internationally.
"Very simply it is to put the social back into social media, to meet the person behind the LinkedIn profile. It’s a great way to meet with existing contacts and to make new connections in an informal business context.
Our meetings follow a loose structure but mostly it’s about you connecting with other LinkedIn members and building relationships".
The magic happens when we communicate
join us at LinkedinlocalBasingstoke
2nd Tuesday of the month and watch it happen.
As a business owner and host of LinkedinlocalBasingstoke, running a Networking group was not on my list of 'things to achieve' however the attraction of gathering people together to increase their visibility, helping to 'Unite people with possibilities' is a passion of mine.
As we moved into Spring 2020 and lock-down our Linkednlocal Basingstoke meetings moved away from meeting in a traditional 15th Century Grade II listed building in a rural setting, to online and now almost always have International visitors. Budding speakers are encouraged to mix with experienced speakers on a, now Global Basis, and I see friendships growing and business passed, at every meeting.
