Social Media
How you are viewed on the web is important. How often do you meet people that want to connect with you, work with, find out more about? Where do they look for your details?
People tend to search for your via Google to find your social media information - Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter - any of the social media platforms. What if they found nothing, what if they found your out of date page, few posts with either no profile, bio and just the platforms basic header. What would they think about you and your company?
This is where your branding yet again should be enforced and we show you how.
Our clients arrive in all shapes and sizes, ranging from sole traders to charities, mostly time is limited, and we often hear:
“I didn’t learn social media at school. Facebook wasn’t even invented when I started my business, I don’t have a clue about technology, and how do I start to learn now?”
“I know social media would help my business, but have no time”
“I post frequently, I really do a lot but nothing comes back it feels like I am sending people to a brick wall, I just don’t get it”
Don’t panic you are not alone.
Social Media is far from easy; however, a basic understanding does help to encourage:
- Potential clients leading to new and retaining business
- People who are looking at pooling resources, collaborating
- Other service providers in your area, raising your profile
- Getting your Charity seen by grant providers
I work with a charity and the highest engagement we had this year was when we and the other services in our town worked together on Twitter and Facebook, along with the local radio to inform the community about the limited bus services, company closures, what roads were snowbound. Tweets came in about the local farmers helping to clear lanes helping ambulances get through. When the food bank was open and where people could find help. The Solicitors and Citizens Advice gave out advice on people’s rights. Everyone pooled together keeping the town informed.
Social Media is not easy and yes it is always changing but it really does help you to get your name known both locally and internationally. However, there are many reasons for not sitting on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn daily or weekly if only that you don’t have any enthusiasm to do it and are just too busy WORKING on your business.
We can show you, teach you or cover it for you, just let us know how we can help.
