10 Reasons Why We Should Set Goals

Building Tomorrow, Today with Goal Setting

As we move into quarter 3 of the year, we may feel disillusioned about what exactly we have, and can now achieve in what has been a extremely difficult year for some - and a bonus year for others.
Know this for sure.
Whatever we have achieved, however tiny the steps seem - each step has helped us in some way.
Think about the things we may have focused on.
- Our Family
- Our Friends
- Our Business
- Ourselves
- Our Community
- Our Helpers
- People who inspire us
- Stranger who are now friends
- Our Neighbours
- Our Lives
- Our Gardens
- Our Homes
- People who have amused us
- People who have invited us to join them online
- Others who have answers questions
Out of all of the above did anyone, anything bring new opportunities or challenges where you can now learn a new skill, meet face to face with new friends or potential clients and set goals for the future?
Why would we, why should we?
- It helps to keep us focused
- It helps to feel we are in control
- It may keep us in front of our more loyal clients - and also those who will start looking around for new suppliers.
- It may be THE thing that keeps our businesses in business as we begin to come out on the other side.
- It will help our well-being and mindset whilst keeping busy with new ideas to help our businesses.
- We will learn more to be in a better place - looking towards a better future
- It could very well give us optimism that for a short period of time went missing
- We may be seen in a different light by our staff and colleagues
- Our families will be proud we didn't give up
- It will help our employees

This is what I now hear:
- I can't wait to get back to work
- It's so great to think we can start seeing our family and friends again
- I missed my mum and dad but they are well and happy
- I've loved this time with my kids
- I didn't realise how good it was to work from home
- I'm not keen to get back to commuting
- I want to get out and mix with people
- I'm very happy that our management have put things in place to safeguard us and our families
- I don't know what is going to happen or how we can carry on with our jobs as we return
- The future is bleak for my business
- Business is so slow I don't know how much longer we can manage
- We changed our business and are already seeing results.
